Purpose and Scope of Application<\/h2>\n\t<p>1.1 These General Terms and Conditions govern all contractual relationships between Torres de Selma SL (hereinafter, &ldquo;TDS&rdquo;) and the client.<\/p>\n\t<p>1.2 These terms apply to all stays, treatments, events, retreats, and other services offered by TDS, whether directly or through authorised third parties.<\/p>\n\t<p>1.3 These conditions form an integral part of every contract entered into between TDS and the client.<\/p>\n\t<p>1.4 TDS may amend these terms, which shall apply exclusively to new reservations made after their publication.<\/p>\n\n\t<h2>2. Definitions<\/h2>\n\t<p><strong>Client:<\/strong> Natural or legal person who books a stay, treatment, or event with TDS.<br>\n\t<strong>Contract:<\/strong> Agreement entered into between TDS and the client by written, electronic, or exceptionally telephone confirmation.<br>\n\t<strong>Event \/ Retreat:<\/strong> Course, training, seminar, workshop, or other organised activity.<br>\n\t<strong>Package Price:<\/strong> Total amount payable for the contracted services.<br>\n\t<strong>Stay:<\/strong> The client&rsquo;s physical presence at TDS facilities.<br>\n\t<strong>Ayurvedic Treatment:<\/strong> Complementary wellness therapy that does not replace conventional medicine.<\/p>\n\n\t<h2>3. Resort Rules and Admission<\/h2>\n\t<p>3.1 The resort is 100% smoke-free. Only vegetarian food is served.<\/p>\n\t<p>3.2 The minimum age for accommodation is 18. Minors may only access the resort when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.<\/p>\n\t<p>3.3 Due to the historic nature of the buildings and the terrain, the resort is not accessible to wheelchair users.<\/p>\n\t<p>3.4 The maximum number of occupants per room is strictly limited.<\/p>\n\t<p>3.5 The client undertakes to respect internal rules and reasonable instructions given by TDS staff.<\/p>\n\t<p>3.6 In the event of inappropriate behaviour or serious breach, TDS may cancel the stay immediately, without entitlement to a refund.<\/p>\n\n\t<h2>4. Services and Packages<\/h2>\n\t<p>4.1 TDS offers:<\/p>\n\t<ul>\n\t\t<li>Accommodation packages (Bed &amp; Breakfast, minimum two nights);<\/li>\n\t\t<li>Event and retreat packages;<\/li>\n\t\t<li>Ayurvedic treatment packages (available from mid-2026).<\/li>\n\t<\/ul>\n\t<p>4.2 Content, availability, and prices are detailed at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.torresdeselma.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.torresdeselma.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\t<h2>5. Reservations and Payments<\/h2>\n\t<p>5.1 All reservations must be made in advance.<\/p>\n\t<p>5.2 A reservation is only considered confirmed after written confirmation by TDS and receipt of the corresponding payment.<\/p>\n\t<p>5.3 Payment must be made within the period indicated in the confirmation. For arrivals within less than 7 days, payment is due immediately.<\/p>\n\t<p>5.4 Failure to make payment within the established period will result in automatic cancellation of the reservation.<\/p>\n\n\t<h2>6. Cancellations<\/h2>\n\t<h3>6.1 Cancellation by the client<\/h3>\n\t<ul>\n\t\t<li>More than 30 days before arrival: 100% refund<\/li>\n\t\t<li>Between 30 and 10 days before arrival: 50% refund<\/li>\n\t\t<li>Less than 10 days before arrival: no refund, unless the service is resold to a third party<\/li>\n\t<\/ul>\n\t<h3>6.2 Exclusive events and retreats<\/h3>\n\t<ul>\n\t\t<li>The 50% paid as a deposit constitutes reservation and exclusivity costs and is non-refundable.<\/li>\n\t\t<li>The remaining 50% must be paid 60 days before the start of the event.<\/li>\n\t<\/ul>\n\t<p>6.3 In exceptional cases, TDS may allow a change of dates, applying amounts already paid to the new date.<\/p>\n\n\t<h2>7. Arrival and Departure<\/h2>\n\t<p>7.1 Check-in (B&amp;B): from 15:00 to 18:00<\/p>\n\t<p>7.2 Check-out: 10:00<\/p>\n\t<p>7.3 Late check-out is subject to availability and additional charges.<\/p>\n\t<p>7.4 The check-in and check-out times are agreed upon in the retreat agreement.<\/p>\n\n\t<h2>8. Prices and Taxes<\/h2>\n\t<p>8.1 All prices include VAT unless expressly stated otherwise, like tourist taxes.<\/p>\n\t<p>8.2 Changes in taxes or fees do not entitle the client to terminate the contract free of charge.<\/p>\n\t<p>8.3 Prices do not include transportation to the resort unless otherwise stated.<\/p>\n\n\t<h2>9. Force Majeure and Modifications<\/h2>\n\t<p>9.1 TDS shall not be liable for non-performance due to force majeure, including but not limited to pandemics, natural disasters, or governmental restrictions.<\/p>\n\t<p>9.2 TDS may modify or cancel events for justified reasons. In such cases, the client shall be entitled to:<\/p>\n\t<ul>\n\t\t<li>a full refund, or<\/li>\n\t\t<li>rescheduling, by mutual agreement.<\/li>\n\t<\/ul>\n\n\t<h2>10. Liability<\/h2>\n\t<p>10.1 Nothing in these terms excludes or limits TDS&rsquo;s liability for personal injury or death caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be legally excluded.<\/p>\n\t<p>10.2 TDS shall not be liable for losses, thefts, or damages resulting from the client&rsquo;s negligence or causes beyond its control.<\/p>\n\t<p>10.3 Ayurvedic treatments are complementary and do not replace medical treatment. The client is responsible for consulting healthcare professionals.<\/p>\n\n\t<h2>11. Complaints<\/h2>\n\t<p>11.1 Complaints must be communicated as soon as possible during the stay.<\/p>\n\t<p>11.2 Written complaints must be submitted within 7 days after the service.<\/p>\n\t<p>11.3 TDS will respond within a maximum period of one month.<\/p>\n\n\t<h2>12. Data Protection<\/h2>\n\t<p>12.1 Personal data will be processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).<\/p>\n\t<p>12.2 The sending off commercial communications requires the client&rsquo;s express consent.<\/p>\n\n\t<h2>13. Images and Recordings<\/h2>\n\t<p>13.1 TDS may use images from events for promotional purposes only with the client&rsquo;s express consent.<\/p>\n\t<p>13.2 Recordings made during treatments will be strictly confidential.<\/p>\n\n\t<h2>14. Intellectual Property<\/h2>\n\t<p>All materials provided by TDS are protected by intellectual property rights and may not be reproduced without written authorization.<\/p>\n\n\t<h2>15. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction<\/h2>\n\t<p>15.1 This contract is governed by Spanish law.<\/p>\n\t<p>15.2 All disputes arising out of or in connection with this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court located within the jurisdiction of TDS.<\/p>\n<\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>General Terms and Conditions Torres de Selma SL 1.
